Women Against Verbal Violence

Women Against Verbal Violence is a spiritually based verbal abuse support group Sponsored by Awakened Reiki Yoga that focuses on reclaiming your divine feminine power through the emancipation from domestic verbal abuse.  We offer compassionate care and support for your situation and will handle it with the utmost discretion.

So often Mental, emotional, and verbal abuse is overlooked in our nation because it leaves no visible scars.  For those that are abused, there is the secret burden carried within with no spiritual and emotional healing and nourishment provided.  WAVV strives to give women back their voice, reestablish self esteem, and assist in re-claiming their mind and power from those that have violated them.

We approach healing with spiritual reverence no matter what faith or religion you may be.  We offer coping techniques, hold healing and empowerment ceremonies, and challenge one another and ourselves to rediscover the missing pieces of the women we once were.  By doing these things, we create new pathways leading to new beginnings.

If you are interested in becoming a part of WAVV or attending one of our meetings visit our contact page with your information.  Due to the nature of the group all information will be kept private and will only be accessed by the administrator.

Our meetings are designed to foster love and support when you need it the most.   All who attend are welcome, and will be accepted without judgment.   Meetings are conducted with the utmost positive energy for your highest good.  This is about building you up, not tearing you down.

We will explore many different methods for self healing and empowerment.  We will engage in meditations, do physical exercise, verbal affirmations, letter writing, group counseling and even have a fun group outing on a quarterly basis.  We are fostering a family of care that will last you a lifetime.

Meetings will be held the first Saturday of every month from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the OASIS institute: 4928 Homberg Drive, Suite A-4, Knoxville TN 37919, in the Bearden area.

Next scheduled meeting: Sep. 4 - 5:00 PM.

Please arrive promptly- Love donations for the community space and snacks are welcome!!
