We will always remember Stephen as the epitome of peace and kindness, and the rock of OASIS Institute. He made it the safe haven we all came to know and depend on. As the prince of peace that he was, he was totally devoted to cultivating a sanctuary for minds seeking peace to know the presence of the Christ, the Holy Spirit, and feel the safety of expressing it within this OASIS family. And what a family it is! The vision he anchored at OASIS is fully alive. He stepped back so that the light he sparked in all of us could step forward. So we are now his living legacy, and together, we will continue to extend the peace and true forgiveness he so beautifully modeled for us every single day.
Stephen was definitely one of a kind - a prince of peace if there ever were one in this era. He never worried! He and Susan were so grounded in their relationship with Holy Spirit and confident of His guidance, they knew, as the Course teaches, there is truly nothing to fear, or even worry about. They just refused to worry! He reminded us when there were concerns about how something would work out that OASIS is Holy Spirit led and that he didn't worry how things would work out. He knew they would. And they always have!

Victoria McDonald will lead the 12 principles of Attitudinal Healing. One principle of Attitudinal Healing will be discussed at each meeting. The Guidelines establish a group protocol, and the Principles are used by group members as tools for learning how to change painful perceptions and beliefs.

Seven Wonders of the World
MACHU PICCHU
This enchanted 500-year-old stone citadel is hidden In the dense jungle of the Peruvian mountains — located where not even the Spanish conquistadors could find it! Known as one of the most inaccessible cities in the world, there is much we still don’t know about this sacred city and the people who lived there.
We will follow Steve Burrows, a structural engineer, as he leads his team of experts through the jungle and into the Peruvian mountains to scan this ancient city using cutting edge 3-D technology. The team seeks to answer these three questions:
How did the Inca’s build a city atop a mountain ridge?
How were the terraces constructed?
How did they supply water to the city?
Additionally, we’ll have an opportunity to hear first-hand about this fascinating World Wonder from those in our group who have traveled there!

Celebrating Spirits in Our Midst
Presenter: Rev. Carol Bodeau
Each year, our culture recognizes Halloween with costumes and ‘spooky’ celebrations. But what’s the truth behind this silliness and fun? And how is it related to the more ancient traditions of the Celtic Samhain and other ancestor-worshipping cultures? What are the real life ghost stories that are the foundation of our autumn connection to the world of spirits? Carol will share some of her own real life ghost stories, and invite you to share yours, as we delve into the mystery that is this season’s thinning of the veil between the realms.
Rev. Carol Bodeau is a Unitarian Universalist minister, a farmer, an artist, and an advocate for understanding our world and our lives through the lens of spiritual energy.
